The Human Element is a journey as I explore the world from my backyard and across continents to understand better what defines The Human Element [ The Human Element ]

While a native of Southern California until 2002, work relocations transplanted him to the Big Island of Hawai’i (2004-2006), Chicago (2006-2008), and Atlanta, where I call home. An avid aviation geek, a loyal fan of the widget, a beagle enthusiast, and a registered Yoga Instructor.

ThreeMonthFurlough – The catastrophic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has decimated the hospitality industry. Three Month Furlough is a subset of posts that relates to my journey during my 2020 summer furlough, which commenced in early June—having been consistently employed since 1996, entering a phase of self-awakening with incredible reflection and effort to see the silver linings. Unsure what the day will hold, but will never end the pursuit of The Human Element.
